California, USA: YouTube has announced the launch of its new app called YouTube Create for video editing.
According to global media reports, YouTube has introduced its first video editing app YouTube Create, which supports the editing of YouTube shorts and common videos, competing against Chinese-based TikTok.
The app has a variety of features, including editing, auto-captioning, voiceover capabilities, and access to a library of filters, effects, transitions, and royalty-free music with beat-matching technology. The app aims that users do not have to rely on complex editing software or tools for their YouTube videos.
The app will soon be available in limited markets including the US, UK, Germany, France, Indonesia, India, South Korea and Singapore. The app will be in beta version, which aims to review comments and user feedback to improve the app. The app is free for all users.
