Epic error in newspaper ad amuses German Ambassador to India!
New Delhi: German Ambassador to India Dr. Philip Ackerman has pointed out an advertisement in a local newspaper with an epic error and shared it on X, formerly Twitter.
According to media reports, an advertisement of boarding schools was shown in an Indian newspaper, but it showed the magnificent residence of the German President in Berlin as a school building in the advertisement.
On X, the German ambassador shared a picture of the ad that talked about a large gathering of india’s leading boarding schools, but it showed a picture of Germany’s Bellevue Palace, which is equal to India’s Rashtrapati Bhavan. In the caption, the ambassador pointed out the contradiction and he also made it clear in a humorous way that no children will be admitted to the presidential palace.
He wrote, “Dear Indian parents! I’ve shown it in today’s newspaper but this building is no boarding school! It is the residence of the German President in Berlin. Germany also has good boarding schools, but no children will be admitted here.
The post shared by the German ambassador has received hundreds of comments and more than 5,000 likes. Internet users have made comments with different reactions. Some users said that such a mistake is possible only in India.
