Lahore: Avanceon Group of Companies has secured a high value five-year contract to setup and maintain Industrial Data Center infrastructure for one of the largest FMCG corporations in Pakistan. The project will be executed by Avanceon Group of Companies digital arm Octopus Digital Limited. The FMCG giant manufactures, stores, packages, and ships snack food products.
The Group has previously worked on several projects with the customer successfully. The acquisition of this project was a result of its track record and expertise in Data Centre Management and Security. Octopus Digital will be responsible for the Migration, Integration, Setup, and Security of the Data Center Infrastructure. The details of the industrial data center project are quite interesting.
With $ 1 million value project approximately, Octopus Digital expects to complete it within an agreed time-frame of five years.
The project is already in its initial stages and the scope of work comprised of three dimensions. First is to complete set up and maintenance of Industrial Data Center. Second is to the provision of manufacturing controls infrastructure and software along with integration with factory wide converged communications network. And, the third is Failsafe Cyber Security Service along with connection with the local factory operations to a Centralized Global Network.
Octopus Digital will provide all services in accordance with the Set Standard Industry Protocols. For the execution of this project, it will be partnering with World Class OEMs.
