Two more RAW agents arrested in Karachi hidden for 26 years, total number of arrests rises to four
Karachi police in collaboration with intelligence agencies have arrested two more suspected terrorists of Indian intelligence agency RAW, taking the number of alleged RAW agents arrested to four, from Korangi Industrial Area.
According to details, two more trained terrorists of Indian intelligence agency RAW were arrested in a joint operation by intelligence agencies and Korangi Police in Korangi Industrial area on Thursday.
According to Express News, two Indian agents Khawar Hussain son of Abdul Ghani and Mohammad Jabir son of Mushtaq were arrested by the intelligence agencies and Korangi police two weeks ago. On their identification, the joint team arrested RAW’s trained mastermind Sheikh Mohammad Ayub alias Ayub Ansari along with associate Ahsan Raza on Thursday. After this operation, the number of operatives of the group belonging to the Indian intelligence agency RAW has increased to 4.
Mastermind Ayub used to drive a taxi and sometimes work as an AC technician by posing as a common man. He used to do recce and target of his target. The accused used to keep in touch with each other through fake and illegal WhatsApp number. The second accused, Ahsan Raza, used to obtain call data records, NADRA data from different applications of the target’s mobile numbers given by RAW and provide it to the mastermind of the network. Further investigation of alleged Indian terrorists is underway. Both the terrorists have been arrested with the help of their accomplices.
Police recovered weapons, including rifles, hand grenades, and explosives from the accused. Their arrest has destroyed a large network of terrorism from Karachi, during the initial investigation of the arrested Indian agent, very sensational revelations have come out.
According to the spokesperson of District Korangi Police East Zone, Indian mastermind Agent Ayub has been living in Pakistan since 1998 hiding his Indian identity, he was born in the Indian city of Bombay and received his early education from the Indian city of Khandala, the accused came to Karachi on a visit visa and illegally obtained a Pakistani passport and identity card. The suspects used to contact fake and illegal WhatsApp and conducted target recce and target killing.
Earlier, the District Korangi Police arrested two alleged RAW terrorists Khawar Hussain and Jabbar alias Jabir Mushtaq alias Mohammad Jabir son of Mushtaq from Korangi Industrial Area with technical help in a joint operation of sensitive agencies about two weeks ago. These suspects used to carry out terrorist activities in Karachi by receiving instructions from their accomplices in India. He also sent details and photographs of targets to his colleagues based in India, and in return received large sums of money from banks abroad. Police recovered two grenades, a 9mm pistol and explosives from their possession.
SSP Korangi Hassan Sardar Niazi claimed that the arrested persons were trained by RAW and involved in targeted killings in Pakistan. After this arrest, they were handed over to the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) for further investigation. The next day, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) remanded the two arrested accused in police custody for three days.
